In this blog we are going to talk about the reality of Nda coachings in Dehradun.There are some famous place for Nda coachings in India and Dehradun is one of them.Dehradoon is very famous for coachings of NDA,CDS, Airforce and navy.
Is coaching necessary for NDA:
Coaching for the NDA exam is not mandatory. Many candidates prepare for the exam through self-study using books, online resources, and practice tests. However, coaching can be beneficial for some students as it provides structured guidance and study materials. Ultimately, the choice between self-study and coaching depends on your learning preferences and needs.
My experience of NDA coachings in Dehradun:
When a student passes class 12th and decide to appear in NDA exam then first he choose dehradun for coachings and i was one of them.
When i passed my 12th then I decided to join a coaching for NDA exam so i went to Dehradun.After reaching there i started visiting many coaching institutes and i asked for Demo Classes because i don't want to give my father's hard earned money to any useless coaching institute but many coaching institute denied for Demo classes.Some coachings allowed me for Demo classes and i want to mention one thing that those coachings were the top famous coaching institute of Dehradun and maximum students who go for NDA Airforce and navy exams coaching take admission in those coachings although i can not mention their name in this blog.
Because i had seen the NDA syllabus and previous year question paper before and i understand the level of NDA questions then I observed the issues which a new student can not observe.
Mathematics teacher -
The teacher was not teaching in detailed way,in maths class he were just writing formulas on board and students were copying them and solving the questions based on those formulas but teacher was not describing the concept of theories deeply and concepts of questions rather than he was describing his achievements and forcing students for taking admission in the coaching institute and in such way whole time of class wasted.
Physics teacher -
It was looking like physics teacher is placed in the coaching only for brainwashing the students.Rather than teaching physics he was brainwashing students.According to him if you have not taken admission in that institution than you are not eligible for NDA and you can not pass NDA in this entire life.
It was also seen that after his class many students had taken admission becoming imotional.
Interesting thing of physics class was that they were not making notes for physics.
English teacher -
The English teacher was very good because he had a good knowledge of English subject and he also understands the syllabus.He was explaining all rules in detailed way and also making notes for English.Overall i can say that he was a valid teacher for that institute.
No saparate batch for NDA and Airforce,Navy (agniveer)-
It was seen that all students were studying in same class and same subjects whether they were preparing for NDA exam or Airforce navy (Agniveer that time X&Y group).As we all know that NDA exam standard is quite high compare to Airforce navy (Agniveer) and syllabus of these exams is differ to each other.But there students were forced to study the subjects which are not even in their syllabus.
Conclusion -
After this i took demo in many other coaching institutes which were very famous but the standard of these coaching institutes was very pathetic and they all were teaching in the same way. One or two teachers were good in a coaching institute but others were doing only time pass.
They were just brainwashing students and forcing them to take admission.
If you really want to join NDA and Don't want to fall in the trap in these coaching centers then understand your syllabus and join separate teachers for separate subjects because if one teacher of a particular subject is not good then you can change him but in coaching institute you have to study under provided teacher whether he has knowledge or not.
So this was my experience of coaching centers in dehradun.In india there are a lot of good nda coachings centres, some are in mukharjee nagar Delhi.I will talk about them in my next blog and they were far better than dehradun coaching centers.
